An Unintended Hiatus

It has been quite a while since I have posted on this blog, actually since 2014 or 2015, with my last entry which concerned the disastrous falling of “The Duggard Family”.

It was not an intentional absence, but life has a tendency to interrupt ones concentration on certain commitments.  Changing of jobs, relocation, health situations; emotional or physical conditions that arose, nothing major, but normal afflictions in my life that have occurred since childhood.

I also must admit that certain events that have taken place on the political scene, have been most enthralling since the announcement of Mr. Trump throwing his hat into the Presidential Campaign in 2015! I threw my whole support for this man because I felt the Lord was giving Mr. Trump as a sign of a reprieve from the wicked and devilish works of the Clinton’s, Obama and the Democrats!  I just knew and sensed Mr. Trump was going to become the president, which I never doubted, due to the witness within my heart and spirit.  The Lord was hearing the cries of His Children to deliver the USA from the corrupted Clintons and the Globalist agenda.

With all of life’s interruptions, I must confess it has been a positive experience.  When one has the time to step back and rest, seek the Lord and grow with discernment and patience to realize what truly is more important.

Periodically I have gone to my blog and checked on the responses, and comment to some, and just throw other comments into the trash.  I will not fall into the trap of so-called “mature” believers baiting me with contentious outbursts that have no biblical support. I have learned to ignore them if I sense insincerity in their false accusations and subjective reasoning outburst’s.

So all can expect me to resume my postings on my Blog that will deal with the present “Apostasy” within the false church.  Warn concerning false teachers, speak on my experiences with the Lord and His dealings with many expects of the suffering’s I have gone through due to the sexual, physical, and emotional abuses of my mother, and rejections of my father.  I will also like to discuss the “Gender confusions” we are seeing coming to the forefront and why they are happening and the lies of this condition.

All shall be posted which I feel needs attending to according to the leading of the Lord upon my heart.

So I do look forward to picking up my writings on this blog, looking forward to the comments, be they accusatory, encouraging and/or a blessing to “set the captives free”………”I can do ALL things through Christ Jesus which strengthens me”.

The Duggar’s Family cult, 19 Kids and counting ……their bubble is about to burst!

I first wrote this post back in June 19th, 2014, and was not finished with it, but now with the sad news of Josh Duggar, it is important to note that it took only a matter of time before the truth was to come out.  I truly feel for these children, and I pray the Lord will deliver them away from this cult family and their false biblical representation of what the family of God is to represent.
I’m very happy this program has been cancelled, and I pray the Lord will truly bring a much needed healing to Josh Duggar, and set him and his siblings free!

And may the Lord bring about True Salvation to the parents, and grant them repentance.

June 19th, 2014

Ok people I want to ask a question “How many people have watched the TLC show “The Duggar Family, 19 kids and counting”?

I started watching that program about six years ago, and I thought, oh how great and uplifting this show was. Then I started questioning “if” God our Lord was truly behind this family.

So I started to do some research concerning this family and what Church affiliation they belonged to, what I found out was not very pleasant. They are tide  in with Bill Gothard the leader of the Institute in Basic Life Principles, Doug Phillips, the president of Vision Forum Ministries who led the ‘Christian Patriarchy Movement’. And the Duggar’s are influenced by the writings of Michael and Debi Pearl’s discipline methods.

Well it seems the Duggar’s bubble is about to burst
There is a sex scandal that was first reported back in April of this year involving Doug Phillips he has resigned and Vision Forum Ministries has closed it’s doors.
Bill Gothard who ran a group home for delinquent children in Indianapolis, Indiana. Had to close it’s doors due to various abuses: “physical, emotional, and spiritual, they suffered at the hand of Gothard and his multiple ministries, including orphanages in places like Russia.”

In circles outside of Bill Gothard followers, he is considered a “cult leader” and I have to agree with that. I do consider The Duggar’s a cult.

I also have discovered that their eldest son Josh, who was married 3 or 4 years ago, was “offered a job at Family Research Council.” On June 18, 2013, it was announced that Josh was hired to be the executive director of the Family Research Council’s political action committee and that he and his family would be moving to Washington, D.C..” as listed in Wikipedia. Now what is interesting is that the FRC is an American Christian Group (so-called Christian) which serves as a lobbying organization formed in 1981 by Dr. James Dobson of “Focus on the Family”.  Another man who is engaged with the workings of the United Nations, who also represents a False Gospel, and a false Christ.

So this TLC family is not all what it appears on TV, it’s truly a propaganda tool of the so-called Christian Right groups.

Here are some links where you can read for yourself, what truly is behind this smiley face “reality” family;

It truly will open your eyes to the subtle deception that is being perpetrated upon the it’s viewers.

The Duggar’s do NOT represent the true Christ, they are a plant for something much more sinister, so please people find out for yourself, and let’s stop watching this farce of a “happy” Godly family.

And this is OPEN for discussion, what are your thoughts concerning this show, “if” you have watched it?

A.W. Pink is one in whom we should not fully support, endorse nor…..emulate!

“2Ti_2:15  Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

       This month marks the 36th year anniversary when my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ came and saved me, and it has been only in the past year that I have come to know of A.W. Pinkand his writings.

       I came to know about Pink through the postings of Mike Jeshurun, a Christian brother who writes articles on a number of blogs he has founded, and who has a presence on Face Book.  One blog in particular is very devoted to and endorsing the writings of Pink.  I never read anything by Pink; I understood he believed in the Election and Predestination of the saints, which I have come to understand by the Lord through the years in my Bible studies, so I never felt the need to look further into his writings.

       In the past couple of weeks or so that did change when this brother posted a sermon, which was given by A.W. Pink titled “Christian Fools”, (Which I shall go into more detail further on in this posting.) After reading it, and disliking it immensely, I started to do my own research on the life of Mr. Pink and found there are a number of major concerns I found that just does not adhere to Scripture in his teachings,  his life, and those with whom he was influenced by, they are as follows (this is just a few):

1.      After his conversion in 1908, he was already excepting “Pastor” positions in the United States, after a 2-month stint at the Moody Bible Institute in 1910.  It was reported he was impatient, and felt he knew all he needed to know, and the Moody Bible Institute assessed he was ready for a “Pastorship” and located him.  Then he married his wife in 1916.  He served as pastor in several churches. From a Biblical perspective, did the Lord train and send him into the ministry? In addition, did he ever have a job to provide for his wife, besides “the ministry?

2.      The writings of John Owen, a Puritan, were influential in his life, and I found that John Owen was supportive of the trial and execution of King Charles 1, why?   He did not preach against it.  He had the audacity to preach a sermon the day after the King’s execution while successfully excluding to mention the event!  Oliver Cromwell being impressed with the sermon, asked J. Owen to join forces with him on his campaigns in Scotland and Ireland (this was a military campaign).  This was a treacherous act against an appointed ruler of England, by so-called Puritan Christians. (God’s word states: 1Tim 2:1-4, Matt 26:52). John Owen along with Oliver Cromwell were rebels, and were guilty of shedding blood.

3.      A number of his writings, sermons or letters such as: “Christian Fools”, “Tithing”, “The Necessity of God’s Appointed Teachers”, “The Sovereignty of God”, “A.W. Pink on Apostasy” and “The Holy Sabbath”, to name a few, as far as I have read are misleading, confusing, verbose, and others are just plain false teaching adding his own thoughts (reasoning assumptions) as God’s thoughts.(Rev 22:18-19)

There were some major flaws in his character, and some found he lacked in Pastoral care visitation, “Pink did do a good job in comforting the sick & dying. He just could not do small talk. And small talk in South Carolina was (& is) a big thing”.

Finally, Pink became a total recluse for 12 or more years, until his death in 1952. Always possessed of an abrasive personality, Pink eventually retreated into isolation.  The last 13 years of his life were spent in self-enforced solitude in Stornoway, Scotland.” This is quoted from Iain Murray’s book; “The Life of Arthur W. Pink.”    Therefore, his isolation was self-imposed not lead of the Lord.  This was outright disobedience for a servant of God to emulate.  God’s word stipulates we are chosen to minister to people: Matt 25:35-40, Rom 12:1-21, James 2:1-26,etc.  He was a man unto himself, the village in which he resided only saw him on his solitary walks, nothing more, nothing less, he also informed believers who wanted to visit, not to bother because he desired solitude to write.  Is this the mindset of a true servant of the Lord? Is this the Fruit of the Spirit?  It is not according to my bible!

“2Ti 2:24  And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,
2Ti 2:25  In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; “

Rom 16:17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.

       Now I would like to continue with the observations that Pink wrote in his Sermon “Christian Fools” posted by Mike Jeshurun on his Face Book page.

Here is a link, if you care to read it for yourself.

      As soon as I read the title, I did not care for his usage of the word “Fools” in this context, it is derogatory, and lacks humility, so I decided to read it.  I was not impressed with it, and it left me with a foul taste.  I am going to take an excerpt from this writing to give an example of how he was miss applying the scriptures to suit his belief system:

 “Now notice, dear friends, that Christ did not upbraid these disciples because they did not understand, but because of their lack of faith. The trouble with them was they reasoned too much. Very likely they prided themselves on their logical minds and said, Well, surely we are not asked to believe impossibilities and absurdities: both of these cannot be true; one is true and the other cannot be. Either the Messiah of Israel is going to be a glorious and a triumphant Messiah, or else He is going to be a rejected and a humiliated one: they cannot both be true. That is why Christ said to them—not because of their failure to understand, but because of their lack of faith—“O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken.””

          Let us look at the words he has spoken, which have been underlined and in bold to see if he is truly representing what was written in the word, for our discernment and learning.  The scripture says the following:

“Luk 24:44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.
Luk 24:45  Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,
Luk 24:46  And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: ” Now let us look at John: “Joh 20:8  Then went in also that other disciple, which came first to the sepulchre, and he saw, and believed.
Joh 20:9 For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead.”
  This means that they “knew not the scripture” it means they had no spiritual understanding of the scripture, which affected their faith.    But in order for them to have the faith to believe in that which was written, the Lord had to “open their understanding”.  THEN they believed, because it was granted unto them at that time.

       I would like to remark that Pink is presuming he knew the reason why they acted in such a manner;   “The trouble with them was they reasoned too much. Very likely they prided themselves on their logical minds and said, Well, surely we are not asked to believe impossibilities and absurdities”.  The Lord’s word speaks nothing of the sort, in this regard.  Presumptive reasoning of this kind is plainly the spirit of pride at work here. It is not only misleading, but is adding to scripture, which is not written.  It is also borderline “slander”. This type of spirit is exactly what leads men into major false teaching.  And I’ve come to hate this type of misrepresentation of the Lord’s word because it is deceitful, and filled with guile, and so many so-called teachers utilize this type of teaching style.

       Pink uses this as a basis to rebuke the belief systems of the Armenians and Calvinists, while he yet agrees with some aspects of both systems; he is accusing them of not understanding the whole truth as stated in God’s word, (according to Pink’s version of the truth).  Here is an example:
“When the Calvinist says that faith is the gift of God and that no sinner ever does or can believe until God gives him that faith, I heartily say Amen; but when the Armenian says that the gospel commands all who hear it to believe, and that it is the duty of every sinner to believe, I also say Amen.”  Pink here is saying he agrees with both belief systems, but goes on to rebuke them for their errors in their limited understanding.  Here is his rebuke to the Armenians.
For example, there are men today who read God’s Word, and they see that the gospel is to be preached to every creature, and that God commands all who hear that gospel to believe in Christ; then they come across some texts on election, predestination:—“Many are called but few are chosen,” and they say, Well, I cannot harmonize this, I cannot see how it is possible to preach, unhampered, a gospel to every creature, and yet for election to be true.  And because they cannot harmonize the two things, they neither believe the two nor will they preach both. They cannot harmonize election with a gospel that is to be preached to every creature, and so the Arminians preach the gospel but they leave out election.”

Now his rebuke to the Calvinists. “Yes, but there are many Calvinists who equally come under the rebuke of our text. They believe in the sovereignty of God, but they refuse to believe in the responsibility of man. I read a book by a hyper-Calvinist only a few weeks ago, by a man whose shoe-latchet the present speaker in many things is not fit to stoop down and unloose—a man of God, a faithful servant of His, one from whom I have learned not a little—and yet he had the effrontery to say, that responsibility is the most awful word in the English language, and then went on to tirade against human responsibility. They cannot understand how that it is possible for God to fix the smallest and the greatest events, and yet not to infringe upon man’s accountability—men themselves choosing the evil and rejecting the good—and therefore because they cannot see both they will only believe in one.”   Pink errors here, they did see properly.

Now let us see how Pink utilizes this scripture to rebuke the un-saved, when in actuality this scripture in Luke 24, is not addressed to the unsaved, but believers!   “O sinner, Christ is saying to you tonight, “O fools and slow of heart to believe all.” You do believe much as you sit there. There are some of you who believe that Jesus is the Son of God. There are some of you who believe that He is the only Savior who can save any sinner. You believe that, then why not believe all? Why not believe in Him for yourself? Why not trust His precious blood for yourself; and why not tonight? God is ready to save you now if you believe on Him. The blood has been shed, the sacrifice has been offered, the atonement has been made, the feast has been spread. The call goes out to you tonight, “Come, for all things are now ready.” And I say again, the devil will tell you as you are sitting there, “There is no need for me to come tonight; I will just wait till God gets ready to come and save me.” How do you know that while you are waiting death may not come and smite you down. “Boast not thyself of tomorrow for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.” The Holy Spirit saith, “Today if ye will hear His voice harden not your hearts.” Yes, man can “harden” his heart: God says so; and God calls to you: “Harden not your heart.” That is something you do yourself—not the devil—you do it. God is speaking to you through His Word tonight. O may His grace forbid that He shall say our text to any of you after you have left this room—O God forbid that you should be among those “fools” who believe not all. You do believe that Christ is God’s appointed Savior for sinners, why not your Savior? O may the Spirit draw you by the cords of love to that One who has said, “Him that cometh to Me I will in no wise cast out.””

Pink is misapplying the scriptures here, and he is teaching his belief that sinner’s have a “natural ability” and responsibility to “believe” in the gospel!  “ I am not limiting God, I am describing to you the plan and method that God Himself has set forth in His Word, and if you would be saved, sinner, you have got to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ for yourself. I say it reverently: the Holy Spirit won’t believe for you. The Holy Spirit may put it into your heart and give you the desire to believe. If you have the desire it is because He has put it there, but He won’t believe for you: believing is a human act.”
Pink further explains this in his “Sovereignty of God” writings; under the title of; “God’s Sovereignty and Human Responsibility”, here is a quote.  “Now, in like manner, the sinner while altogether lacking in moral and spiritual ability does, nevertheless, possess natural ability, and this it is which renders him accountable unto God. Men have the same natural faculties to love God with as they have to hate Him with, the same hearts to believe with which they disbelieve, and it is their failure to love and believe which constitutes their guilt. An idiot or an infant is not personally responsible to God, because lacking in natural ability. But the normal man who is endowed with rationality, who is gifted with a conscience that is capable of distinguishing between right and wrong, who is able to weigh eternal issues is a responsible being, and it is because he does possess these very faculties that he will yet have to “give account of himself to God” (Rom. 14:12).”
     Pink is taking Romans 14:12 out of context, Paul is writing to believers in regards to NOT judging one another with regards what one does eat, and one that does not eat meat!  This is downright mis-use of scriptures to “fit” his theology.  This is not the Holy Spirit teaching him.

      The rest of this sermon is very confusing, and non-simplistic in its presentation, it is convoluted and very hard to wrap one’s mind around it, which I have learned not to trust.  This is not the manner in which the Lord teaches through His Holy Spirit. Our dear Lord is not an author of confusion.  It is obvious Pink was influenced by, and is expounding certain teachings that he learned from John Owen.  John Owen believed and taught “Puritan Preparationism”.

This term is explained in a writing from Martyn McGeown:

Martyn McGeown* writes the following in his article entitled “The Notion of Preparatory Grace in the Puritans”: “By this they meant, generally (with some variation), that an unregenerate sinner could prepare himself for the grace of regeneration by a serious consideration of his sins in the light of God’s law. By careful self-examination the sinner could and ought to stir himself up to loathe his own sinfulness and to desire mercy … , and by a judicious use of means (especially attendance upon the preaching of the gospel) he could put himself in the position of being a likely candidate for the New Birth. Most of the Puritans who advocated such views insisted that God prepares the sinner in this way. They were loath to suggest that man can do this unaided by the Spirit. However, they also taught that this preparatory grace was often present in reprobates so that preparation for regeneration did not necessarily lead to salvation in the end.” [1]

       As you read the full sermon you will find this is exactly what Pink is teaching.  And I have read other works by him, which I also found very confusing, and represents the typical “Philosophical Theology teaching system”, which is nothing but the “fleshly reasoning mind’ and not of the Holy Spirit, and something which I do not adhere to at all!  It is not simplistic in nature, because the Lord’s word is written for all to be able to understand as they mature according to the grace granted by the Lord according to His perfect purposeful will and timing. Col_2:8  Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

       The Lord always condescends to the level where a believer is, but will not allow them to stay there.  He will guide them into all truth, as they are able to bear it.  1Co 3:2  I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.

      Now I want to state that I have read other works of Pink’s in the last few days and have found they were very good in their teaching.  I had no problem agreeing with them.  Actually in his writing of the “The Leading of the Holy Spirit” it is exactly what I have learned from the Lord through the years, and I also agreed in part with his writings on “Sovereignty of God” but his flip-flopping back and forth leads to confusion and makes me question “if” he truly understand all of God’s council.  I am not stating that A. W. Pink was not saved, but his works are of the nature of wood, hay, and stubble, and shall be burnt up, but the believer is saved.

1Co 3:12  Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;

1Co 3:13  Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.

1Co 3:14  If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.

1Co 3:15  If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

       So based upon my findings through the Word of God and His Holy Spirit, I cannot and will not support, endorse nor emulate the works of A.W. Pink, and other believers should not. There are those like Mike Jeshurun who lift this man so high on a pedestal, and who follow his pernicious teachings, that it borders on idolatry.  Because with my experience with Mike J, once I started disagreeing with Pink and his teachings from a biblical stance, Mike removed himself from the right hand of fellowship.

       I find it very disturbing that so many people lightly cover over Pink’s weaknesses, or “flaws” as some have stated.  When it has been very clearly stated in the Lord’s Word, it is within the “little foxes” and/or a “little leaven” that will destroy the vineyard, and leaven the whole lump.

 Son 2:15  Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes.

Eze 13:3  Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!

1Co 5:6  Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?

1Co 5:7  Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:

      Therefore, we need to view ALL things as the Lord views them; it is for our protection, liberty, and edification. What we may not deem important in our eyes, is the opposite in our Lord’s eyes. Though they err, they are still brethren, and not enemies, but we must still be separate from them.

2Ti 2:24  And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,

2Ti 2:25  In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

2Ti 2:26  And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

      If the Lord shall lead, I will write upon the other teachings of A.W. Pink and express why they are unscriptural in nature.

      May the Lord open your eyes to see the truth, so that you may be pleasing unto the Lord in ALL things pertaining unto Holiness, Righteousness, and Truth, as He sees it according to His perfect will.

Eph 5:8  For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

Eph 5:9  (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)

Eph 5:10  Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.

Eph 5:11  And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

In His Eternal Love…..

John 15:12; This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you….

         I read from Spurgeon’s Morning/Evening devotional this morning, and it was from Song of Solomon 4:7, “And there is no spot in thee”…. and this is what he had to share;

Having pronounced his Church positively full of beauty, our Lord confirms his praise by a precious negative, “There is no spot in thee.” As if the thought occurred to the Bridegroom that the carping world would insinuate that he had only mentioned her comely parts, and had purposely omitted those features which were deformed or defiled, he sums up all by declaring her universally and entirely fair, and utterly devoid of stain. A spot may soon be removed, and is the very least thing that can disfigure beauty, but even from this little blemish the believer is delivered in his Lord’s sight. If he had said there is no hideous scar, no horrible deformity, no deadly ulcer, we might even then have marvelled; but when he testifies that she is free from the slightest spot, all these other forms of defilement are included, and the depth of wonder is increased. If he had but promised to remove all spots by-and-by, we should have had eternal reason for joy; but when he speaks of it as already done, who can restrain the most intense emotions of satisfaction and delight? O my soul, here is marrow and fatness for thee; eat thy full, and be satisfied with royal dainties.”

“Christ Jesus has no quarrel with his spouse. She often wanders from him, and grieves his Holy Spirit, but he does not allow her faults to affect his love. He sometimes chides, but it is always in the tenderest manner, with the kindest intentions: it is “my love” even then. There is no remembrance of our follies, he does not cherish ill thoughts of us, but he pardons and loves as well after the offence as before it. It is well for us it is so, for if Jesus were as mindful of injuries as we are, how could he commune with us? Many a time a believer will put himself out of humour with the Lord for some slight turn in providence, but our precious Husband knows our silly hearts too well to take any offence at our ill manners.”

   After I had read this, I by the gentle influence of the Holy Spirit realized, which seems to be the teaching pattern of late for me, we need to view this and practice it with the assistance of the Holy Spirit amongst ourselves.  I being the first to admit that I have had this struggle regarding myself towards others, but as of late I am coming to terms with this, and by God’s grace I’m acting upon it as He would have me do according to the light given to me to understand.

      We all have areas which “peeve” us off with one another, and inadvertently causes us to question at times ones ‘belief system” and or possibly ones faith all together. But, we are all at differing measures of grace in our place within the Lord.

       And as Spurgeon wrote, particularly the above underlined, I see now, that we must all view one another as our Dear Lord, views us.  Our Lord knows what He is capable of in changing us into His likeness, and causing us to grow in the knowledge of who He is and how He desires us to act towards one another, because He knows “All things are possible with God” through His Holy Spirit.

      We all need to realize that we all have varying gifts by the Holy Spirit to be utilized for the “edifying of the Body of Christ”

Eph 4:1  I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,

Eph 4:2  With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;

Eph 4:3  Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

Eph 4:4  There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

Eph 4:5  One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

Eph 4:6  One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Eph 4:7  But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

Eph 4:8  Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

Eph 4:9  (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?

Eph 4:10  He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)

Eph 4:11  And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

Eph 4:12  For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

Eph 4:13  Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

Eph 4:14  That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

Eph 4:15  But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

Eph 4:16  From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

So when we see a fault, or an error in teaching or a mis-understanding of a teaching, we by faith and hope in Christ must pray for one another’s good and be faithful to correct a wrong belief, a teaching or certain fleshly actions, as guided by the Holy Spirit. That in turn would bring Glory and Honour towards His name by edifying the Body of Christ, His Bride and bring about true unity and mankind will take note.

Joh 13:34  A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

Joh 13:35  By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

      We have all at one time or another failed in this miserably, and presently still do, but it needs to be corrected.  We need to ask the Lord where we have failed, and when, and ask Him to bring us together as one unit in the faith, as He is one with the Father in Heaven.  We must desist on standing on our “fleshly understanding” of the scriptures, we must stop allowing personal “biases” and personal “prejudices” to stunt the growth of another believer.  We all need to take this to heart, and ask our Merciful Lord to change this within us, to be patient with one another enduring suffering when we are chided for trying to correct the brethren in their erring ways.  We need to humble ourselves and pray for them and their good, so that the Lord would be glorified within them and that He be glorified by doing so.

       We need to surrender ALL our close associations to His perfect will.  If we prefer one another, above the perfect will of the Lord, then we compromise the faith, and the truth that Christ stood for,   we then inadvertently compromise the very Gospel that we supposedly love. We are taught that we must NOT know no man after the flesh.

2Co 5:15  And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
2Co 5:16  Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.
2Co 5:17  Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Rom_8:5  For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

That is why we need to ask the Lord for the grace and strength to Love one another in truth and Love in the Holy Spirit, revealing what is acceptable unto the Lord, and Him only.  As stated here:

Eph 5:9  (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)

Eph 5:10  Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.

Eph 5:11  And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

      I love Spurgeon, and though he may have had his faults and errors, anyone who is lead of the Spirit, and is born of His Spirit will know that Spurgeon was close to the Lord and that the Lord revealed Himself through the unction of the Holy Spirit, because it is so prevalent in the words he writes which  brings forth such glorious insight and light into our understanding of our Lord’s ways which leads unto  life.

 Joh_1:4  In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
Joh_6:63  It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

     May the good and gracious Lord bless this to your understanding so that we may grow in the true unity of the Faith which is found in Jesus Christ.

       In His Eternal Love…

After chastisements…………the Peacable fruit of Righteousness……and Joy cometh in the morning!

This was a response to a dear brother in the Lord who wrote an article titled:

This brother wrote this with the most sincerest intentions and honesty as far as he understands, and part of the article is very true, but his understanding in God’s design for how we are to walk is in error.  He actually is trying to justify his disobedience to the Lord and His Word, because he is deceived by the intentions of his fleshly heart.  He thinks he has a ministry, and he may have such, but he is not walking according to the Lord’s Word on how believers are to govern themselves.

For an example, this dear brother, sends his wife out to work, so that he may stay home and take care of their two boys, and to be available to minister to believers, and write articles.  The problem is that a man is to provide for the family while the wife stays home and cares for the children and the household.  He has turned it around.  His wife has suffered terribly from a sickness and was not able to work, but the Lord has provided means for him to stay afloat and provide for the family, and minister to his wife due to this disease which is now in remission, thank the Lord for that.  But once he informed me that she was going to go out to work, I brought to his attention that this was NOT the will of the Lord, God’s word is clear on that issue and there is no way of getting around it. A man who is a follower of the Lord is to make sure the Lord is his first priority, then “if” he is married, then he is commanded to provide for the wife and the children FIRST, then “IF” he has a ministry that is last.  Because the Lord desires NOT the family to suffer due to a ministry, and there is no biblical support otherwise.  The Lord and one’s relationship is first, family second, and ministry will follow as the Lord should lead which will NOT contradict His Word!  His wife has suffered sickness, he has had many states of depression, and his sons are not believers in the Lord.

The Lord will use many differing ways to get our attention, I know for I have suffered many majorly deep depressions in my life to the point of terrible despondency, but through each one of them, He has revealed why and brought healing, and which lead me to see my errors in HOW I was conducting myself in what I was believing, or not believing.  This was the way the Lord brought “Chastisements” to me by using a mental anguish to bring me to the truth of a matter concerning obedience and His Ways. The Lord will also use sickness, but many times we don’t recognize these situations as a disciplinary action by the Lord to grab hold of our attention for some specific purpose.  Most of the time we think it’s just the way of life on earth, getting sick, and most of the time it is, but many times it is sent from the Lord for a specific purpose, such as correction.   In many circles they think it’s just an attack from the devil, which in some cases it can be, but most of the time it is not, and in other cases some may think it is a test, or a trial to test our faith and trust in Him, and that can also be true.   It is up to us to seek the Lord with a sincere heart to find out the why, and that is where we as immature Christians can fail, but thank the Lord, His faithfulness to us is NOT based upon our faithfulness to Him.

Now on to my reply:

Pro 16:25  There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

        Anything which is not followed in OBEDIENCE, be it through self-will, pride, lack of knowledge or wisdom, and our own ignorance will bring about “Suffering”,(sin is death) and we can and will suffer personal loss from wrong decisions whatever the reason.  Especially if it is done through ignorance, which will mostly occur when we are “Babes in Christ”, and “if” this be the case the Lord’s mercies and understanding and faithfulness will bring us out of it, but once we have learned from the “errors” of our immaturity in understanding, then we will walk according to His Ways, and will have the grace to keep walking in His Upright ways.

        God is a God of order, and He has made known His Ways especially in HOW we as believers need to conduct our lives according to His Word.  For the ways of the Spirit is in His Truth.  His ways can be overshadowed by our MISUNDERSTANDINGS in Rightly dividing the Word of the Lord.

As the Lord stated:

 2Ti 2:13  If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

2Ti 2:14  Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers.

2Ti 2:15  Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

So we are to “STUDY” to show ourselves approved, why?  So that we may walk uprightly in His Ways and speak to those who error from His Ways;

2Ti 2:24  And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,

2Ti 2:25  In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

2Ti 2:26  And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

There are many examples of Godly men who erred in their decision making which led to suffering, once realizing their “sinful actions” were forgiven, but still suffered loss due to those actions, they will bring loss.  Though forgiven and cleansed, once we have repented, we will sometimes still have to suffer the consequences.

The first major example which comes to mind is King David, and his actions to win Bathsheba, which caused the death of an upright man through the hands of David.  Was it God’s will that this be done? Was the Lord the author of David’s lustful heart?

 2Sa 11:27  And when the mourning was past, David sent and fetched her to his house, and she became his wife, and bare him a son. But the thing that David had done displeased the LORD.

 That should bring about a resounding NO!  David was out of God’s order in how he should have governed himself, but his fleshly and lustful heart, (which was a continual weakness) won out.  Even though David eventually came to see how he not only sinned against his God, and lead a man to his death, and repented of it and was forgiven of the Lord, God’s judgement of righteousness had to be forthcoming.  David SUFFERED loss from his sin, and others suffered along due to his disobedience, and violence and the sword was to be the way of life for him and his kingdom:

 2Sa 12:9  Wherefore hast thou despised the commandment of the LORD, to do evil in his sight? thou hast killed Uriah the Hittite with the sword, and hast taken his wife to be thy wife, and hast slain him with the sword of the children of Ammon.

2Sa 12:10  Now therefore the sword shall never depart from thine house; because thou hast despised me, and hast taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be thy wife.

2Sa 12:11  Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will raise up evil against thee out of thine own house, and I will take thy wives before thine eyes, and give them unto thy neighbour, and he shall lie with thy wives in the sight of this sun.

2Sa 12:12  For thou didst it secretly: but I will do this thing before all Israel, and before the sun.

2Sa 12:13  And David said unto Nathan, I have sinned against the LORD. And Nathan said unto David, The LORD also hath put away thy sin; thou shalt not die.

2Sa 12:14  Howbeit, because by this deed thou hast given great occasion to the enemies of the LORD to blaspheme, the child also that is born unto thee shall surely die.

The Lord brought forth His Judgement so that ALL of Israel would see and take note, that He was a Just God and did not show favoritism towards anyone that sinned Against Him and His Ways!

And yet after all this King David to this day is known as a “man after God’s heart”.

Now another example is King Hezekiah:

 2Ki 20:3  I beseech thee, O LORD, remember now how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.

2Ki 20:4  And it came to pass, afore Isaiah was gone out into the middle court, that the word of the LORD came to him, saying,

2Ki 20:5  Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the LORD.

2Ki 20:6  And I will add unto thy days fifteen years; and I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for mine own sake, and for my servant David’s sake.

After the Lord granted him another 15 years, Hezekiah in his fleshly zeal did something very foolish and suffered the consequence of is actions and of which all of Israel did suffer:

2Ki 20:12  At that time Berodachbaladan, the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present unto Hezekiah: for he had heard that Hezekiah had been sick.

2Ki 20:13  And Hezekiah hearkened unto them, and shewed them all the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious ointment, and all the house of his armour, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah shewed them not.

2Ki 20:14  Then came Isaiah the prophet unto king Hezekiah, and said unto him, What said these men? and from whence came they unto thee? And Hezekiah said, They are come from a far country, even from Babylon.

2Ki 20:15  And he said, What have they seen in thine house? And Hezekiah answered, All the things that are in mine house have they seen: there is nothing among my treasures that I have not shewed them.

2Ki 20:16  And Isaiah said unto Hezekiah, Hear the word of the LORD.

2Ki 20:17  Behold, the days come, that all that is in thine house, and that which thy fathers have laid up in store unto this day, shall be carried into Babylon: nothing shall be left, saith the LORD.

2Ki 20:18  And of thy sons that shall issue from thee, which thou shalt beget, shall they take away; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.

2Ki 20:19  Then said Hezekiah unto Isaiah, Good is the word of the LORD which thou hast spoken. And he said, Is it not good, if peace and truth be in my days?

2Ki 20:20  And the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and all his might, and how he made a pool, and a conduit, and brought water into the city, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

2Ki 20:21  And Hezekiah slept with his fathers: and Manasseh his son reigned in his stead.

These are a couple of examples from the Old, and there are examples from the New Testament as well for our learning.

Paul wrote to the Corinthians warning them that there is a proper way to build upon the foundation of the Lord Jesus Christ and what He expects from His people and “if” they do not build properly upon that foundation they shall suffer loss:

1Co 3:10  According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.

1Co 3:11  For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

1Co 3:12  Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;

Here is an example of a believer who walked according to the sinful and fleshly desires of his lustful heart, and this man had to be chastised by being separated from the body, so that the Lord’s correction and repentance be granted unto this man.  They failed to act until Paul got wind of it, and instructed them in PROPER Godly council how to deal with the situation:

 1Co 5:1  It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father’s wife.

1Co 5:2  And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.

1Co 5:3  For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,

1Co 5:4  In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,

1Co 5:5  To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

1Co 5:6  Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?

1Co 5:7  Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:

1Co 5:8  Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

This man walked according to his own way possibly due to ignorance, and the members allowed it due to “Pride” and carnality, this was NOT according to God’s pattern of governing.  Was the Lord the author of this man’s sin?  Did the Lord guide him into working this unrighteousness? No, absolutely not.

Once the members acted according to God’s will in dealing with this sinful act, repentance was granted unto this man, and he was then returned unto them.  His sin was forgiven and he was restored, and more than likely never practiced that evil again.

We are also warned that  believers should NOT marry an unbeliever, “if” they do they will suffer the consequences, for the Lord desires us NOT to be unequally yoked, and to this day we see many so-called Christian marriages in shambles because they do NOT OBEY the Lord’s guidance in these matters.  But there is always forgiveness and repentance granted once confessed, then we depend upon the Lord’s mercy and grace within that situation.

We are also warned that if a believer does not work and provided for himself and his family, that he should not eat, and that they are worse than the heathens!

Also fathers are warned that:

 Eph 6:4  And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

How many Christian homes have suffered loss due to Christian father’s NOT being there for their children in the manner which the Lord has desired?  Many walk after the council of their own fleshly hearts and human reasoning minds (these bring death) and therefore their children suffer from it, and many don’t desire to follow the Lord. (I’ve known the children to go into homosexuality) How many women who say they are Christian are working and not there for the family unit as God desires……many.

I’ve seen so many families whose fathers are supposedly “ministers of God’s word”, paying more attention to the sheep, and their ministries then their own families and their needs!

So if there be no discipline in following the Lord’s desires ALL will suffer loss in the natural as well in Spiritual rewards. And none of it is the Lord’s will.

And there will be regrets; we are to judge our actions and beliefs according to what the Lord’s Word instruct us, and where we aren’t willing due to “misunderstandings” or plain fleshly stubbornness and pride, there is hope  “if” we sincerely seek His will and ways He will get us there for sure, without any doubting of His Faithfulness towards us His Children.

We are admonished to know the Lord’s Will according to His council, to know what is Right and Just in His eyes not our own as stated here:

 Eph 5:6  Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

Eph 5:7  Be not ye therefore partakers with them.

Eph 5:12  For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.

Eph 5:13  But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.

Eph 5:14  Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

Eph 5:15  See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,

Eph 5:16  Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

Eph 5:17  Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

 To do otherwise is disobedience, not ALL of our actions and decisions are of God’s will or plan, otherwise why would He need to chastise us for our good, which worketh Righteousness unto Holiness?

So in part, what you are stating in your discernment,  is not correct,  no person who follows Christ can walk their own walk, we are NOT an island unto ourselves.  And the path you have walked does have error as I have walked in error, but by the Grace of God…..He has brought me out of it, and I have paid a price, some through ignorance and false teaching, which darkened my understanding, but once His chastisements came, I learned His Ways, and by His Grace, I have the desire to walk in them.  And through that learning process I am able to share with you where you err.

In His Eternal Love……

Heb 12:10  For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.
Heb 12:11  Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.

Psa 30:2  O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.

Psa 30:3  O LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.Psa 30:4  Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
Psa 30:5  For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

I pray the Lord would like to teach to all His Ways, that He will give you the understanding and the willingness to obey by His Grace, and “if” you are not willing, He will make you willing.

The Lord bless you one and all.

In His Eternal Love….

A time of separation….. a time of silence….

Ecc 3:1  To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
Ecc 3:3  A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
Ecc 3:7  A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

         It’s been seven months since my last written entry, and it has been a time of casting away things which were interrupting, or I should say, interfering with my seeking and  communing with the Lord.  I felt I needed to have a closer walk with Him so I started to withdraw myself from those “little interferences” and ‘Face Book’ was one of them.  Having a ‘high strung’ nature I found FB was becoming an addiction, I couldn’t go a day without checking up on who wrote what, where they were at, who liked something I wrote, what new picture was posted, and who commented on a Christian teaching posted on a few of my “friends” pages….it was relentless, and it was causing me some emotional hyperactivity!

          I stopped seeing and communicating with certain people with whom I felt I needed to step back from and take a closer look ‘why’ I was desiring to socialize with them.  It was a total scrutinizing of the motives. As I took the necessary steps to ‘withdraw’ I cried out to the Lord to bring me closer to Him, and to reveal those things which hindered a closer walk with Him.  We  really do need to cause ourselves to seek the Lord, so if we ask, He shall do it, and did he do it!

1Ch_16:10  Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.
1Ch_16:11  Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually.
Psa_9:10  And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.
Psa_22:26  The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek him: your heart shall live for ever.
Psa_27:8  When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek.
Psa_63:1  A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah. O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;

          Mat_6:33  But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Mat_7:7  Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

         These are but a few, but I do think it gets my point across.  And when we set out to seek the Lord for answers, as I did, I just asked Him to reveal those things which were so deep that needed healing or deliverance to be able to repent from , “please shine your Holy Spirit within me and let me see those sins, and bondage’s which needed to be dealt with”….and you know what?  He did, step by step and bit by bit it was accomplished.  I had some real trials and emotional issues, and some terrible besetting sins, and I knew it was affecting my close walk with Him.  I was also fed up with my position in a private home as a attendant, felt lonely, no real social life, everything was just dead and the person I worked for was becoming unbearable for me.  I was not in a peaceful and calm place, I was suffering from many bouts of depression, emotional mode swings, impatience with everything and all most everybody.

          When I had reached a plateau of “having enough” I wanted to run;   I was on the re-occurring,  self-sabotaging road again!  Something I did from the age of 4, anything too uncomfortable after a while, I would seek out a change.  I cried out to my Heavenly Father and asked for help, “show me what to do…….Please?”  When He saw I was being sincere and truly desiring, these simple words came to my mind….”it’s not yet the time” (to run) and……”Humble yourself”.  I knew immediately what He was desiring  me to do, that I should humble myself before the gentleman with whom I attend too, and discuss with him my concerns and frustrations, also along with some apologizing which was forthcoming due to my “attitude” towards him.

          Now as I mentioned this  scripture came to mind, which I read from a devotional reading this morning, it’s from Exodus 14:13 …..“Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord”….  When we at times come to a place that is difficult….you know between a “rock and a hard place” we need to just “be still….stand still……wait patiently….and listen”.  There is a  disciplinary phrase that is utilized now days by parents towards children when they are out of control, “Time Out” and that I find is befitting to what I’m trying to convey.    And trust me this took many years for me to come to understand this, because I did at one time view “chastisements” as a rejection, I know differently now, and the Lord got me there step by step.

          I read from Joel 2:11 “His Camp is very great”, and in this chapter the Lord speaks of His Great mercy and kindness, and how He uses ALL things great and small to bring His people to repentance.  He uses all creation for His use, for judgement and correction.  In verse 25, the Lord states “And I will restore to you the years the locust hath eaten, the canker worm, and the caterpillar, and the palmer worm, my great army which I sent among you”.  In other words, He pulls down and with the same hand builds up.  All for our good.  It is the Lord that brings these things upon us to “Chastise” us, to correct us and to deliver us from our fleshly ways.  It all works to bring about the Peaceable fruit of Righteousness.

          As it states in the next verse 26; “And ye shall eat in plenty (Spiritual Food) and be satisfied, and Praise the name of the Lord your God, that hath dealt wonderously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed”.  I understand this… that when we come to judgement now concerning sinful ways and attitudes and come to repentance, we won’t be ashamed when we stand at the judgement seat of Christ on the last day.

           So as we allow the Lord to chastise us, there is a promise which follows, as read in verse 32, of Joel 2;  “And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be delivered; for in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.”

            I will give a resounding AMEN to that!

            So dear brethren be blessed, and despise NOT the chastisements of our dear LORD, for it truly is for our own good.  And for some of us, it can take awhile to truly understand and believe this. But HE shall get us there!  So give thanks to our most wonderful creator and maker of our souls!  For the Love of God shall in no wise cast us out and nothing can separate us from HIS Merciful Love and Care!

The Bride of Christ………His Body, His Church…..We are betrothed unto HIM!!!!

bible-heartGreetings brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ, the Lover of our Souls. This day as I went about my Monday duties, this wonderful Hymn came pouring into my spirit, mind and soul.

I just started humming it over and over, unfortunately not knowing verses, it’s the chorus that I did remember:

“Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him,”
“How I’ve proved Him o’er and o’er,”
“Jesus, Jesus, Precious Jesus!”
“O for grace to trust Him more.”

Then I went on to add these words at the last line, “O for Grace to Love you more.”

Yes we all need more grace to Love our dear Lord more. Let us desire to be like Apostle John, as he laid his head upon the breast of his dear Lord during the Last Supper.

As I pondered upon that wonderful written testament of John leaning ever on his Saviours breast…. on the last night together before His death.

Can you imagine what John “may” have thought, when he could hear that gentle heart beating, pumping that glorious blood through His Body, the blood that was soon after to be shed for the likes of you and me.

Oh let us cry out to our dear Heavenly Father asking Him to please give us grace to Love Him more, so that our hearts may beat as one with the Risen Lord, who is seated on the Right Hand of the Father with all Authority, Power and Righteousness!

Here is a link that will take you to this wonderful old time Hymn be blessed as I was.

To lift up Jesus in our Lives….to give unto Him all the Glory and Honour that He so rightly deserves.
And may we remember His commandment unto us His children;

Joh 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
Joh 13:35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
In Spirit and in Truth.

BEWARE… Jim Brown with ‘Grace and Truth Ministries’ is a heretic!!!!!

2Pe 2:1  But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
2Pe 2:2  And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
Php 3:18  (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:
Php 3:19  Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)

     I first became aware of Jim Brown just a couple of weeks ago through a video I watched, where he first stated;“the English language is a harlot language” my first initial reaction was one of disbelief!  I wondered how in the world could a “biblical teacher” believe this to be so? I also was terribly uncomfortable in the manner in which he spoke, he seemed to be yelling, as if yelling was going to hammer into my mind that he was speaking truth. He kept making statements that one “needs to know Greek” to fully understand the bible!   My first thought was that this man is leading a “cult” like group, because I have experienced the “fruits” of a cult leader.  Then I saw in the title of the video a word, which was new to me, it was Gematria.  Well my mind immediately felt alerted, so I did a Google search, and this is what I found in the Wikipedia, it is a direct quote:

Gematria or gimatria (Hebrew: גימטריה gēmaṭriyā) is a system of assigning numerical value to a word or phrase, in the belief that words or phrases with identical numerical values bear some relation to each other, or bear some relation to the number itself as it may apply to a person’s age, the calendar year, or the like. It is likely that the term derives from the order of the Greek alphabet, gamma being the third letter of the Greek alphabet (gamma + tria).[1] Alternatively, the word “gematria” is generally held to derive from Greek geōmetriā, “geometry“, which was used as a translation of gēmaṭriyā, though some scholars believe it to derive from Greek grammateia, rather; it’s possible that both words had an influence on the formation of the Hebrew word.[2] It has been extant in English since the 17th century from translations of works by Giovanni Pico della Mirandola. Although ostensibly derived from Greek, it is largely used in Jewish texts, notably in those associated with the Kabbalah.”

      I hope you caught the last sentence which is in bold, “associated with the Kabbalah.” If you are like me, I’ve only recently come in contact with this word “Kabbalah” through the entertainment news which informed which  celebrities  were believing in and practicing this form of a religous belief system.  Here is the definition of what Kabbalah represents as reported in Wikipedia: “

Kabbalah, also spelled Kabala or Qabbālâ (Hebrew: קַבָּלָה literally “receiving”), is an esoteric method, discipline and school of thought. Its definition varies according to the tradition and aims of those following it,[1] from its religious origin as an integral part of Judaism, to its later Christian, New Age, or Occultist syncretic adaptations. Kabbalah is a set of esoteric teachings meant to explain the relationship between an unchanging, eternal and mysterious Ein Sof (no end) and the mortal and finite universe (his creation). While it is heavily used by some denominations, it is not a religious denomination in itself. Inside Judaism, it forms the foundations of mystical religious interpretation. Outside Judaism, its scriptures are read outside the traditional canons of organised religion. Kabbalah seeks to define the nature of the universe and the human being, the nature and purpose of existence, and various other ontological questions. It also presents methods to aid understanding of these concepts and to thereby attain spiritual realisation.”

“Kabbalah originally developed entirely within the realm of Jewish thought and kabbalists often use classical Jewish sources to explain and demonstrate its esoteric teachings.” “These teachings are thus held by followers in Judaism to define the inner meaning of both the Hebrew Bible and traditional Rabbinic literature, their formerly concealed transmitted dimension, as well as to explain the significance of Jewish religious observances.[2]  “

  So we see that “Kabbalah is mystical in it’s nature brought about by  rabbinic teachers, these “rabbinic teachers” are NOT Christian, so their thoughts are coming from a darkened mind of sinful flesh, and not by the Holy Spirit!

This is how I came to the conclusion that Jim Brown, who is utilizing an “occult” practice of Gematria to understand scriptures, is a false teacher.  We have the Holy Spirit which will teach us all we need to know concerning the Lord’s word;

1Jn 2:27  But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

Php_3:15  Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

Joh_16:13  Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

        After I found out the meaning of Gematria My next step was to search out if any other person had discovered this man to be a false teacher, all I found was a complaint by a man who was involved for a while with this ministry, he stated, and I quote..

…..“It is really sad that someone who claims to represent the teachings of God, is having his employees harass other religious entities behind the scenes. Jim Brown who is Minister of Grace & Truth Ministries in Hendersonville Tennessee, has had several of his cronies call on via the phone, e-mail, or sometimes on site of a competing Church, and attack the beliefs of that congregation who Brown deems not to be a true Christian by his own beliefs.”

“Brown’s hard-core cult-like teachings of the Bible, attract a fringe group of Christians who wish to exalt themselves over traditional groups such as Catholics, Baptists, Pentecostal, and any other religious group they deem worthy of attack.”

“Brown is not man enough himself to do the dirty work, so he has his followers or low-paid employees do it for him. They call people anonymously and verbally attack them with their views of the Bible. They send CDs and literature as well to unsuspecting churches who they target.”

“For several years. Brown and his group have been brokering airtime of cable systems across the country to carry their television ministry and raise donations. Brown hired an out of work heavy metal radio disc jockey – Dave Tuckmantel – to contact TV outlets to carry the weekly broadcasts.”

“Tuckmantel is responsible for harassing many religious organizations in behalf of Brown, and hap-hazardly boasts of his activities in the name of God.”

“This is completely unacceptable behavior and unethical for a religious entity to behave in such a manner. I was a supporter of Grace & Truth Ministries for quite sometime, however after learning of these shameful activities, I have since severed ties with them.”

“I feel the public needs to be aware of their activities and unethical behavior of Jim Brown and his Grace & Truth Ministries.

      There was another, person a woman who commented on this complaint board, who also had dealings with this group, this is what she had stated and I quote…..“wow…I feel like I’ve talked myself into a blank space with an indictment against Jim. WELL, I’m not here for that…I, initially, was here to stand up for what Jim has done and is doing. Jim has a healthy study habit which has/ does produce tremendous information in support of the Bible. I feel like a viable candidate to speak for that aspect of Jim’s ministry. But, within this ‘filtering’ of argumentation I have come to realize by my own words that my feelings are just as true for not going to his church. My feelings should have NOTHING to do with those who feel healthy within that church environment. It was Jim who did pull me out of so many problems so long ago … he was ‘the hammer’ that knocked me out of me… I have evolved into who I am because of that…and evolved out of going there. I don’t make this a moral implication or mental evolution…it’s just that I’m not there anymore because of what I feel to be ‘in lack of’ a healthy environment for my own family. I hope this has helped anyone — maybe only me”.

      There was not much out there on the web who stood up against Jim Brown and his teaching, which I found surprising because this man has been around for a while.  I could find no real testimony on how the Lord found him, (how he was saved) and that makes me highly suspicious, because when you meet the Lord by and through His Holy Spirit, you know you met with God and you can’t help but proclaim it from the roof tops!

      Now I have run across a man who is speaking out against this man and gives his reason why this man, Jim Brown, of “Grace & Truth Ministries” is what I’ve expected….a false teacher….a heretic of the worse kind.   Here are some of his discoveries concerning this ungodly, and unholy ministry!

“Jim Brown says – “THE BIBLE IS FULL OF LIES – THERE ARE NO DEMONS”! ( Series – Doctrine of the Devil, #3030)”

“More than once in this tape this man blurts out “the Bible is full of lies”! But he is quick to catch himself and clarifies by saying – “I didn’t say the Bible is a lie, but that the Bible is full of lies”!”

“(Series – Predestination and Atonement, #2903)”

“This is a denial of the ‘Doctrine of the Original Sin‘ and the ‘The doctrine of Imputation‘.”

“The preacher who teaches that men are ‘born innocent’ and only become sinners when they sin has understood neither the enormity of the FALL nor the Gospel!”

“JIM BROWNS’ WARPED VIEW OF REGENERATION! ((Series – Predestination and Atonement, #2903)”

““I was about four years old, I was this INNOCENT little boy, I didn’t know my right hand from my left . . . I don’t know what my first sin was, I was alive without the law once . . . ”   (by ‘alive without the law once’ Jim Brown means he was sinless until he was four. In fact he asserts that when Paul said this in Romans 7:9 he was referring to his sinlessness as a child)”

“He goes on to say that when he was six or seven that’s when he first sinned and that’s when he died (spiritually)!”

       These are just a few excerpts of what he has written……to read more detailed information  here is the link;

      I would just like to add that I tried to listen to other video’s of this Jim Brown, and I suffered through the most excruciating mental pain of trying to understand what this man was teaching concerning the birth of Cain, and what I did pick up before my computer froze, was that Jim Brown stated “that there was more than ONE VIRGIN birth, Eve and God created Cain!  Once my computer un-froze, I could not get back to the same video.  But I did have a headache that lasted a good half hour before it disappeared!  That my dear brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus is a sure sign of “human reasoning” being taught, there was no Unction of the Holy Spirit in this man’s teaching, which proves he knows not the Jesus Christ of the Bible, that he relies on his fallen human reasoning while utilizing occult tools, which were brought about by men who were NOT saved, but by Jewish rabbinical teachers!  I love the body of Christ especially the babes in Christ, for they have not the capacity to discern what is of the Lord and of the devil, because it “sounds good” to them, but that is the trick of “wolves in sheep’s clothing”.  I know what it is to be deceived while being a babe in Christ, I have the stripes that my soul, my mind, and my faith suffered due to “doctrine of demons”, and it took the Lord years to undue it, as I was able to receive His Truth.  So by the loving grace of my Heavenly Father, through the mediation of Jesus Christ, and by the sealing of the Holy Spirit, I am where I am, and I will NOT stifle or be afraid to stand up against any false teacher, pastor, or so-called spiritual leader that knows not the Christ of the Bible, His Gospel, His Truth which is all due to His Love for His children, and whoa to those that are a stumbling block to His young flock!

      As the Word of the Lord states:

Eph 5:5  For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
Eph 5:6  Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
Eph 5:7  Be not ye therefore partakers with them.

Col 2:6  As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:
Col 2:7  Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
Col 2:8  Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
Col 2:9  For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

Rom 1:18  For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

2Th 2:10  And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
2Th 2:11  And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
2Th 2:12  That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

       May our Gracious Heavenly Father through the unction of His Holy Spirit give you the grace to set you free from all false doctrines and those that teach it.  For I am assured of this one thing, that the Lord shall NOT lose ONE of His Sheep, and He shall deliver you out of the claws of false teaching and their leaders, for our hope is only in Him and not of ourselves.

       Be blessed…….In His Eternal Love…..

Can any good fruit come out of the ‘Christianity Today’ magazine?……..No!

Mat 7:17  Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

         My interest in writing this blog entry stemmed from an email a Christian believer sent me in regards to an article, which was featured in the February 2012 issue of the ‘ Christianity Today’ magazine.  The article which was brought to my attention, was written by Thomas Bergler titled “When Are We Going To Grow Up?  The Juvenalization of American Christianity”.  I shall get to the article shortly, but first I want to establish a basic history from whence this apostate magazine was first established and who was it’s birth-er, or founder.

          According to a Wikipedia report, the brainchild of this publication was non-other than Mr. Billy Graham, and right there is the first major “RED FLAG”!  Here is a direct quote:

“The founder, Billy Graham, stated that he wanted to “plant the evangelical flag in the middle-of-the-road, taking the conservative theological position but a definite liberal approach to social problems”.[3] Graham started the magazine as counter-point to The Christian Century, the predominant independent periodical of mainline Protestantism, and as a way to bring the evangelical Christian community together.[3][4]

         Here are some of the major contributors to this magazine as quoted from the same source:

“The first issue of Christianity Today was mailed October 15, 1956, and the opening editorial, Why ‘Christianity Today’?,[5] stated “Christianity Today has its origin in a deep-felt desire to express historical Christianity to the present generation. Neglected, slighted, misrepresented—evangelical Christianity needs a clear voice, to speak with conviction and love, and to state its true position and its relevance to the world crisis. A generation has grown up unaware of the basic truths of the Christian faith taught in the Scriptures and expressed in the creeds of the historic evangelical churches.”

“Its first editor was Carl F. H. Henry. Notable contributors in its first two decades included contributions from F. F. Bruce, Edward John Carnell, Frank Gaebelein, Walter Martin, John Warwick Montgomery, and Harold Lindsell. Lindsell succeeded Henry as editor and during his editorial administration much attention centered on debates about biblical inerrancy. Later editorial work came from Kenneth Kantzer and Terry Muck. Notable current writers include author Philip Yancey, Fuller Theological Seminary’s Richard Mouw, Yale Law professor Stephen Carter, and Prison Fellowship’s Charles W. Colson. The current Editor in Chief is David Neff and Senior Managing Editor is Mark Galli. Contents include feature stories, news ranging from cultural issues from a Christian viewpoint to the global church, opinion, reviews, and investigative reporting.”

“In Billy Graham’s 1997 autobiography, ‘Just As I Am,’ he writes[6] of his vision, idea, and history with Christianity Today.”

            With that being said here is a link titled: “The Transformation of the Church” “Christianity Today””~A Database of Historical and Current Data on the Strategic Partnerships & Interlocking Directorates  of Organizations in the Global Ecumenical Movements.”  This is a well documented breakdown of the influences that are behind this apostate publication.  This web-site has a huge database of information concerning the ecumenical movement and all those that are associated with this Anti-Christ system:

              If one is truly interested they can do their own research into the heresies and wicked fruit this magazine puts forth, here are a couple to start you off :

            I think it is safe to say that “Christianity Today” is a tool of the devil, and all those that contribute to it, support it, and refer people to it for so-called “spiritual enlightenment” are NOT serving Jesus Christ whatsoever! As God’s Word attests we who do KNOW HIM, must separate ourselves from such wicked un-Godliness and warn others to stay away from it’s influences, especially those that are young in the ways of the Lord!  This is true Love, this is the way of His Truth………. to do less is sin.

2Ti 3:3  Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
2Ti 3:4  Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
2Ti 3:5  Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
2Ti 3:6  For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
2Ti 3:7  Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

           Now regarding the article that was brought to my attention, I first need to state since the mid to late 1990’s, the Lord has taught me to search out ALL things that are brought to my attention by other believers, and/or so-called believers. Especially when I was introduced to ‘Frank Viola’ and his book “Rethinking the Wine Skin” (who is a new ager and an enemy of the Gospel) I first seek out who is being mentioned, what their background is, where they have attended  (so-called) “Bible Schools, theology schools or universities”, (which by the way are not sanctioned by God according to His Word). What their influences were, where they teach, and what they teach, and more importantly I try to read their testimony, “if” one can find one.   And this discipline has protected and served me well, and I thank my heavenly Father for causing me to do such a thing, for I know first hand how false teaching causes a child of God  to be detoured from the true and correct path of Righteousness leading to Godliness.

         The believer that brought my attention to this article had mentioned that they had read this and in their own words, and I quote; “It is an excellent read, long, 12 pages, but well worth the read.  Mr. Bergler basically speaks to the demise of maturity in Christian faith that is so apparent in our post modern church world.  I would call it “high school Christianity”.  After reading this I immediately went into action to search this man out, because I knew NOTHING good can come out of “Christianity Today”, and I will admit to being surprised and disappointed by the lack of true spiritual discernment that this fellow believer showed by giving any type of credence to anything that comes from this anti-Christ publication.  This is  the article as printed online in “Christianity Today” here is the link:

          What I discovered concerning the author who wrote this article: Mr. Thomas Bergleris associate professor of ministry and missions at Huntington University, Huntington, Indiana, where he has taught youth ministry for ten years. He is also senior associate editor for The Journal of Youth Ministry and author of the new book The Juvenilization of American Christianity.”    Here directly from the Huntington University web-site is his education background, and I find it rather interesting that he completed his PH.D at a Catholic University.  This man is Ecumenical from the start.

“Dr. Tom Bergler completed his Ph.D. in American Religious History from the University of Notre Dame and his M.A. in Theology and Church History from Wheaton College.”

“He served as a staff worker for University Christian Outreach for 7 years, helping to evangelize and disciple students at the University of Michigan, the University of London, and Michigan State University. He co-founded the Spring Academy, a Christian theology and ministry camp for students from state universities.”

“He currently serves as senior associate editor of The Journal of Youth Ministry.”

“He is the author of:”

  • “Enduring Myths of Youth Ministry” Youthworker Journal (Sept./Oct. 2004)
  • “‘I Found My Thrill’: The Youth for Christ Movement and American Congregational Singing, 1940-1970″ in Richard Mouw and Mark Noll, eds. Wonderful Words of Life: Hymns in American Protestant History and Theology (Grand Rapids: Eerdman’s, 2004): 123-149
  • “The Place of History in Youth Ministry Education” Journal of Youth Ministry 1:1 (Fall 2002): 57-71
  • “The Juvenilization of American Christianity, Eerdmans Publishing, 2012. See the article on his book in Christianity Today by” clicking here.

“He teaches Foundations of Christian Ministry, Discipling Ministries, Contemporary American Youth Culture, and Understanding the Christian Faith.”

        Here is some background information concerning Huntington University as found in Wikipedia:

“Huntington University has a “strong historic and ongoing relationship with the Church of the United Brethren in Christ,”[1] an evangelical denomination headquartered in Huntington, Indiana.”

“The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching classifies Huntington University as a principally undergraduate institution.[2] Huntington University offers associate’s, bachelor’s and master’s degrees in approximately 70 academic concentrations.”

“In 2010, the U.S.News & World Report annual collegiate rankings has listed Huntington University as 6th among the Best Baccalaureate Colleges in the Midwest region.[3] In 2009, Forbes ranked it 97th of America’s Best Colleges.[4]”

        Please note that “Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching” is a foundation that supports the New World Order, and One World Religion agenda.  Without a doubt this all represents the anti-Christ system. With this all being revealed it’s more than safe to state, that  Tomas Bergler is ecumenical, therefore his writings will be representing the condition of the apostate church.

        With this all being said in trying to establish the un-scriptural background of the magazine and the writer of “The Juvenilization of American Christianity” article by Thomas Bergler, one has to ask is true Christianity being addressed here?   I have to say from a Biblical perspective… NO!   I would have to greatly disagree with the fellow believer that sent this to me, and I have responded to this person expressing my concern that they would deem this article as an “excellent read”.  It is the farthest from the truth.  In this article, if you would go to the link provided and read it for yourself, you will take note that this man is including the Roman Catholic Church as part of the American Christian Church!  What does the RC have anything to do with true Christianity?  It does not, and never has.  It has always presented a false Christ with a false Gospel.  As soon as I read his inclusions of the RCC, I quickly arrived at the full  realization that this is not an excellent read.

          We should ask why is there such “immaturity” in the Christianity he is rebuking, and we who do follow our dear Lord and Saviour who have separated ourselves from the apostate church(because He, Jesus has separated us) would have to answer, it’s because the Christianity he is rebuking is not Biblical Christianity!  The very apostate Christianity he is rebuking is the very same apostate church he is part of!   He is trying to bring attention to the immaturity that exists, and yes it surely does exist, but what can one expect from a “tree that brings forth bad fruit”?  A bad tree cannot bring forth good fruit.  Mr. Thomas Bergler is part of the problem, he is from the tree that produces bad fruit, and until the Lord grants this man the Grace to see Him as He is, Mr. Bergler is battling a downhill battle, for his religion is built upon sand, and great will that fall be and it shall be burned.  As the Lord’s Word states:

Mat_7:17  Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
Mat_7:18  A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Mat_7:19  Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

Mat 7:26  And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
Mat 7:27  And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

Mat_12:33  Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.

        In closing I would like to state that we who are of the true body of Christ, need to be more diligent in our discernment, and that discernment comes from the Lord.  We do a disservice to the Gospel of Jesus Christ if we be “wishy washy” in our understanding.  We need to ask Him for this discernment, His Wisdom.  We need to ask Him to make us one mind with His mind, with His thoughts and His Ways.  For they are much higher than ours.  We need to grow in the fullness that is in the Godhead bodily in Jesus Christ, and there will be a price to pay, as we grow more in standing and contending for the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ that was delivered unto us.  Be assured we will not be popular, nor accepted, we will be ridiculed, despised, treated wrongfully and shunned.  If you are loved by everyone, and all speak well of you, well you better check to see “if” you be in the faith.  It is far better to suffer with the Lord and rejected of men, than to compromise the one true faith found only in Jesus Christ.

Col 2:10  And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
Col 2:11  In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:
Col 2:12  Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

        I will leave you with these words which the Lord planted upon the tablets of my heart back in the late 1990’s, it’s all about getting to know the mind of the Lord in all things, proving what is acceptable unto Him and Him alone:

Eph 5:6  Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
Eph 5:7  Be not ye therefore partakers with them.

         I pray the Lord will bless this to all the hearts that need to hear.  Thank you and the Lord bless each and everyone one of you.

The Trust and Faith we have come from and through Christ our Lord……

     On April 30th, 2010 during my quiet time with the Lord and His Word, He gave me understanding from where all our Faith and Trust towards God comes from.  It is from Himself, and nothing of ourselves.  For it is in Him where ALL of our sufficiency is from:

How the Characteristics of Grace Appear

And we have such trust through Christ toward God. Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God, who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant.  (2Co_ 3:4-6)

     As I read this in today’s devotional, I was caught by the first nine words; “And we have such trust through Christ toward God”. These words truly stuck out, “such trust through Christ”, that this ‘trust’ and ‘Faith’ is all through Christ, since we be hid in Christ Jesus, then all His Faith and Trust in God, will become ours, or is ours more and more as we grow in measure Grace to Grace.  As He brings us into a more ‘mature’ relationship, our Faith in God grows as well as our Trust for all this comes from Jesus Christ himself. “To be one, as we are one”.

Eph_4:7  But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

     That is why ‘nothing’ comes from within ourselves, it is all a gift of grace from God the Father because of Jesus Christ and His Faith and Trust towards God His Father.  So that explains why “our sufficiency is from God” because Christ’s sufficiency came from His Father, God himself, through the work of the Holy Spirit.  Did not Jesus say, “I do nothing of myself”?

Joh 8:28  Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.

Everything Jesus did was according to God’s will, for He said, “I came not to do my will”;

Joh 5:30  I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

      So that is why all of our sufficiency comes from God through Jesus Christ, for we are “hid in Christ”.  Everything that was found in Christ towards His relationship to God the Father and His Will is to be ours also, if we be truly born of God’s spirit. Born from above of incorruptible seed, not from the fleshly seed of self-works, tradition or religiousness.  It is all by Faith in Him and His Promises towards us for His purposes.

1Pe_1:23  Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

      2Pe_3:18  But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

May the Lord bless this to each and everyone of you according to the Lord’s will and purpose.

Apostate Evangelists & Teachers

For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 2nd Corinthians 11:13-14
