Warning alert concerning Matt Moore’s blog……

Well it’s time I mention the blogger which I wrote about in my last entry, he has informed me to stop and desist. Here are his very words…..a direct quote.

That’s enough. If you want to have endless arguments based on your ill perceptions and constantly tear down everyone else and call it “love”, do it else where.”

This was told me due to my stand against their support of Greg Laurie, and Lonnie Frisbee, and Matt’s desire to accomplish a 14 month internship with Mars Hill Church in Seattle, Washington, lead by Mark Driscoll. Here is the direct quote from the ‘Christian Post’ an online publication written in March of this year.

He hopes that his search will be cut short, however, because he has applied for a 14-month internship at Mars Hill Church in Seattle that would begin in August if he is accepted.”

      I asked Matt the following, it’s a direct quote;

I’ve read that you have applied to Mars Hill Church in Seattle, have you done any background check on Mark Driscoll and what he teaches let alone what and who he supports? If not Matt, you should. Here is a site that will give you a good picture what Marc Driscoll stands for: http://www.driscollcontroversy.com/?page_id=9. And it ‘s not good, you are not being guided by the Lord to apply there, you are being guided by your “feelings”, not based upon truth. Not everyone that speaks about Jesus is following the one true Jesus. Marc Driscoll is a false misguided teacher who supports Rick Warren amongst other things.”
“I’m encouraging you to check ALL things out, as our Bible instructs us to, for your protection, for your faith, and to protect those that you minister too.”

He never responded one way or another, and I find this all a bit sad, for Matt is a new Christian about 2-3 yrs.  I’ve been giving him the benefit of the doubt due to his “newness” in Christ Jesus.  I know how I was when I first met the Lord, and ignorant of His ways, and not aware of the deceitfulness of false teachers, and false doctrines.  We did not have the internet back in the late 1970’s, so to search things out was not as accessible as it is now. I learned it all the hard way, but it worked out for good, as the Lord promised it would and it has sharpened my discernment skills, and taught me to how”prove all things”.

1Th 5:21  Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
1Th 5:22  Abstain from all appearance of evil.

My experience on Matt’s blog has not been all bad, I’ve made very good confirming comments when someone did speak truth, and it was presented in a biblical context, but then the “little isms” appeared, and I’ve learned by the Lord, that it’s in the little foxes, which spoil the vine.  As a babe in Christ, we really know nothing about the little details which our God is very specific about, especially when it comes to false teaching, and how it is presented, it is always presented in some form of truth, but it’s that little twist that binds us unwillingly to error in our ignorance.

Son 2:15  “Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes.”

I realize that when we first meet the Lord and He grants us the gift of grace which leads us to repentance, we want and do shout it from the roof tops!  So we go about telling everyone, and we then feel we have a ministry to the lost, which is good, but not necessarily in God’s timing.  So many feel it’s more important to get out there and save the lost, without looking at the responsibility of what we do with them after they come to know the Lord!   In Matt’s case he feels he has a ministry to the homosexual community, and maybe he does, I’m not questioning that, but it’s with WHOM  he associates himself with that concerns me!  He is hoping to join a  church group as stated in his latest blog entry:

Got this from a fellow Shreveporter’s blog who is a member of the Church that, Lord-willing, I will be joining. Great stuff.” http://n2nministries.blogspot.ca/2012/06/theological-triage.html

So I follow the link, and what I find is disastrous!  Here is the link that shows who this groups follows:http://n2nministries.blogspot.ca/2012_03_01_archive.html

This is through the ‘Norris Ferry Community Church’, which Matt speaks of.  If you follow the link you will see that they are following the teaching advice of Tim KellerI researched Tim Keller and this is what I found, it is numbing!  This is a video presentation with him speaking and he supports Richard Foster and promotes his book.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sFQ2Crgvhxc, (just copy and paste on you tube).

Mr. Keller is promoting the Author Richard Foster who teaches New Age mysticism, through meditative and contemplative prayer practices.  Here is a link that will give you further information concerning the evil teachings of this man: http://op.50megs.com/ditc/FOSTER_EXPOSE.htmSo Tim Keller who supports this man is going to be used in order to help assist ‘Neighbors to Nations Ministries’ to plant churches, the article is titled ‘Justification of Church Planting’.  This is the church group that Matt Moore desires to join, “lord willing” (his words), so he can be used there to minister to the lost homosexual, and then lead these poor innocent people into the depths of Satan’s pit!  By the way, ‘Neighbors to Nations Ministries’ is by ‘Norris Ferry Community Church’  an affiliate with the Southern Baptist Convention which has ties to the UN, here is the link, read it and weep:

Do you  see my concern?  I have to say to Matt Moore, and all that support this man’s blog, and encourages him in his so-called ministry to the lost homosexuals, how can you justify leading anyone from one hell hole into another one.  It is just beyond words to me!

You can not justify any of this and call it “misrepresenting the facts“, nor can you justify it by stating “we all have blind spots” or “faults”.  This goes way beyond, this is the devils work you are supporting, and Matt and all others will all give an account, and I tremble for you, and pray that “if” you truly are the Lord’s that He will have mercy and open your eyes to the truth of what you are getting involved with, for the Lord does blink at ignorance for a while, but then He will hold you accountable.  Just think about those poor souls you are going to minister too, what Jesus are you leading them to….what Gospel are you preaching to them?

Mat_7:13  Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
Mat_7:14  Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

The mixing is crazy. Look at all these guys. They don’t even believe the same things, and yet they all get along so well. I mean, which of these guys is right, since they all contradict? Greg Laurie is a “lose your salvation” guy, Mark Driscoll is a “prove you have it” calvinist (both are works for salvation which can’t save, but that’s another story).

So if both these guys are to be respected as Bible teachers, how can they join up together? They contradict. And if they contradict, then which is right, and which is wrong (both are wrong, but anyway…).

Just shows that “celebrity appearances” of these guys is more important than the Bible to them.

Thanks Ben for visiting and taking the time to make a comment, it’s appreciated and encouraging.
But I agree with you wholeheartedly. They claim they have some disagreements, but they justify themselves from making any judgements by stating “we all have blind spots” or “faults”.
I tried to tell them major false teaching/doctrine can not be considered “blind spots” or “faults”.

And some of the Calvary Chapels have a problem with the “Emergent Church” doctrines and can’t accept it, and threaten to separate, which would be a good thing, but it seems they need a quorum before making a swift decision. Yet they still promote “Greg Laurie’s” picture and “crusades”, on their individual web-sites because it draws the masses in, they feed off of Greg Laurie’s celebrity. Also they also use the justification of walking slowly in judgement because of the number of people that “supposedly” come to know Christ through Greg’s ministry. Where is that even biblical?
It’s all very sad and sobering.
The Lord bless you, have a great week!

Apostate Evangelists & Teachers

For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 2nd Corinthians 11:13-14
